			In this pre-1903 image (original depot is shown in the background), a group of “gandy dancers” pose for the camera on their company's mode of transportation before “pumping” to work. It appears there are two handcars joined together, making it an 8 man powered “vehicle.” In January 1903 fire consumed the entire depot, including a small amount of freight. A boxcar served as a temporary telegraph and freight office until a new depot could be built.
