This image can be dated between 1905 and 1907. The "keys" for determining the dates are that the building known as the Service Garage has yet been constructed on the corner where the hotel is located. The Service Garage, in later years occupied by Johnson Construction, would be built just south of the brick building on the right (east) side of Main Street. Also, looking down (north) Main Street we can see the building known as the "Windmill" which was torn down February 1908. It is also of interest to note that on the corner by the bank a kerosene lamp post is still in use as electric street lighting had not yet made its appearance. | ||||||||
