| Construction of the brick building nearest the corner was completed in August 1893. Simon M. Myhre who was the owner of the building sold it in September, 1893 to Olson & Jacobson, dealers in hardware. A news item in the April 5, 1894 Waupaca Post states "O..A. Olson has already commenced to gather material for the new brick building. He is going to build beside Olson and Jacobson's store. In the June 7 issue of that year the Post tells us that "Carpenters are at work raising the frames for O.A. Olson's three brick buildings. And in the August 23 issue we learn "The big brick block of O.A. Olson, Olson & Jacobson is very nearly completed. | ||||||
