In 2009 the Silver Lake Service Station was moved from its site on County Highway G to Scandinavia Memorial Park

| This past April 2010 the Silver Lake Service Station was moved onto a cement slab and is now officially a part of our Historic Street. Tony Hawke, Todd Cartwright, and Phil Wemmer provided the heavy equipment. Carl Lantz and Doug Watson assisted with the move. Interior work has started with the removal of the drywall. The overall condition of the building is quite good as the previous owners had the roof shingled so there is minimal water damag to the interior. A couple of windows, and numerous panes, need to be replaced to restore it to its original appearance. | |||||||||||||||
